Laughing and literature: a fine combination

Not many Escorts In London have a degree in literature, politics, economics or fine art. Granted some of them do, but for the rest of us, if we want to appear at least a little interesting to those senior executive and CEO clients of ours we have to put in a little effort. It’s worth it – not just because your date is bound to be impressed but also because it’s actually quite interesting anyhow (well the literature part is).

I was a big reader at school but in my teens other pursuits took over and I never really got back into locking myself in my bedroom for hours at a time leafing through a book. Not so nowadays though. I actually look forward to when I’m going to get an evening to myself to sit with a glass of wine and a good book. What am I reading to improve my mind ladies?

How about Dickens (how did I miss him when younger?), Hanif Kureshi and John Updike – all of whom I love. It’s not just about the story; you also get a great insight into society at the time the novels were set. There’s politics in there and economics too so always relevant to what’s going on today.

And don’t worry about getting ‘too heavy’ – your client will soon tell you anyway if that’s the case. Check out the art galleries (not just the main ones but the independents too) and find out where the best restaurants are in town.

My main tip though is to laugh – a lot. And if you don’t have a sense of humour then develop one quick. Clients want to have fun as well as stimulating conversation. Research jokes if you have to and write them down. Then practice their delivery. It’ll be worth it in the end – I promise!
