London Sightseeing

London is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. People from all over the world visit London in order to sightsee and indulge in all things British. And did you know that one of the up and coming tourist industries is escorting? A huge surge in tourist bookings has occurred in the last few years. More and more people are choosing to use escort agencies in London to have some unadulterated fun whilst they are on vacation here. Tourist bookings are fast becoming our girls’ favourite bookings as they get to experience the culture of the company of somebody else.

Central London is a focal point for tourism in particular the West End, Oxford Street and Westminster. The West End has some of the greatest theatre shows and our ladies are huge fans of the theatre. If you’re in need of a few ideas for your visit to London then here are our top pics for places to go in the capital:

Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square

Leicester Square is a fabulous entertainment area with bars, cafes, cinemas and  restaurants, theatres and attractions. Leicester Square hosts lots of big movie premieres and it’s a good central place to start a day of sightseeing. Everything you need is very central to you here. There is a pedestrianised section with a fountain called the Statue of Eros – a picturesque spot for a great photo. You’ll also find the famous illuminated advertisements that wrap themselves around one of the tallest buildings in the square. You even get a bit of a New York style feeling at Piccadilly Circus.

The Houses of Parliament

The Palace of Westminster is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Commonly known as the Houses of Parliament after its occupants, it’s also known as the ‘heart of British politics’. Guided tours are available when booking in advance and can be in Spanish, Russian, English, French, German, Italian and Mandarin.

Somerset House

Somerset House is a spectacular neo-classical building in the heart of London, sitting between the Strand and the River Thames. During the summer months 55 fountains dance in the courtyard. In winter you can skate on London’s favourite ice rink. Somerset House also hosts open-air concerts and films, design exhibitions, contemporary art and family workshops with free guided tours of spaces usually hidden to visitors. It’s also home to the wonderful Courtauld Gallery and its splendid collection.

Covent Garden

The area was formerly the site of London’s largest fruit and vegetable market which has now since moved to Bermondsey. The modern market consists of over forty stalls selling a variety of quality goods including clothing, antiques and craft items. Here you’ll also find Covent Garden Piazza. This is the area where the world famous Covent Garden Market is held and has now become a shopping destination in it’s own right. The piazza is a favourite for Peruvian and classical musicians and can regularly be found in the courtyards amidst the stalls. It is also the location for street performers which always pull in the crowds.
